SAVISTO

SAViSTO knows what makes a dancefloor move. His sound sits where deep house, minimal and tech meet: rolling bass, restless percussion, sly little hooks and grooves that get under your skin.

Behind the name is Rob Savage, a DJ and producer whose career has taken him on two world tours and through clubs including fabric, Ministry of Sound, XOYO and Egg. He’s played Glastonbury, Glade and The Big Chill, and spent years learning how to turn a room from heads nodding to hands in the air.

His recent releases tell their own story. First came “Limitations” on Josh Butler’s ORIGINS Records, followed by music on DOBAR in Croatia and 63b, part of the Data Transmission family. Add releases on Talisman Music, Platform 7even and R-Trybe, and you get a producer who keeps finding new ways to make a groove hit.

Rob is also bringing Breakin Even back. Born from the parties he ran in Reading in the 2000s, it grew into Breakin Even Records and released music from his Groove Diggerz era. Now the parties are returning in Worthing, and the old label is being resurrected for its next chapter.

So what happens when you give him a radio show? Minimal Sessions on Balearic FM: deep cuts, fresh discoveries, serious low end and the kind of selections that make you ask what that track was. Turn it up.
